Wrestled at 125, finishing with a 6-8 record ... went 2-2 at Midlands, 3-2 at the Franklin & Marshall Open, and 1-4 in duals, including an extra match ... competed in the dual-match lineup against Columbia, Rider, Harvard and Bucknell, getting a win against Bucknell's Grayson McLellan.

Before Princeton: Kayal went 139-33 in high school and earned medalist honors in New Jersey all four years. He was also a four-time medalist at the Beast of the East, winning a title at the 2017 event, and was a three-time medalist at the Doc Buchanan tournament.
