NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Princeton men's cross country team defeated 12 other teams this afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City for the IC4A Championship. Paul Morrison (So., Ontario, Canada) was the second place finisher out of 91 runners with a time of 24:37.10. Mike Spence (Sr., East Stroudsburg, Pa.) finsihed only seven seconds after Morrison in third place overall and a time of 24:44.70.
Princeton placed three runners in the top 12 and four in the top 25. Princeton scored a total of 70 points, narrowly beating Duke who came in second with 73 points. Penn State was third with 79.
