Tigers Finish Third at NCAA Region II Championships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Paul Morrison (So., Chatham, Ontario) finished first out of 178 runners with a time of 30:22.38, but the Tigers as a team finished third at the NCAA District II championship held at Lehigh University. Mike Spence (Sr., East Stroudsburg, Pa.) also turned in a top 10 performance. Spence finished in ninth place with a time of 30:52.16 for ninth place.
The Tigers now await an at-large bid to the NCAA championships to be held on Nov. 22 at Indiana University. The top two teams from the region advance automatically to the championship meet.
