New Record leads Princeton to victory over LaSalle

PRINCETON, NJ. - Chris Banks (Jr., Springfield, VA) set a new school record at Princeton Battlefield as the Tigers defeated LaSalle in the opening meet for the men this season. Banks' time of 24:49 surpassed the previous record of 24:57 held by Matthew D. Metzger since 1993.
Six Tigers placed in the Top 10 leading Princeton to a win with 23 points. LaSalle finished second with 33 points.
Behind Banks, Tiger senior Justin Niedzialek (Sr., Charlotte, NC) took second place overall with a time of 25:05.
Princeton's next meet will take place at the Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 3. Meet begins at 11 am.
