Princeton Takes Fifth at 1998 Iona Meet of Champions

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Princeton University women's cross country team finished fifth with a total of 165 points at the 1998 Iona Meet of Champions today. Wake Forest won the event with 30 team points.
In the individual competition, Courtney Ebersole (Jr., Lebanon, Pa.) finished with a time of 18:35.8, good enough for 15th overall. Heather Onuma (Sr., Springfield, Mo.) had the Tigers' second best time with a 18:46.9. She finished 24th, over a minute behind the individual champion from Wake Forest, Janelle Kraus (17:35.3).
