Princeton Takes Fourth at 1998 Regional Qualifying

ANNAPOLIS, M.D. - The Princeton Tigers placed three runners in the top twenty-five as they took fourth place in the 1998 NCAA Regional Qualifying held in Annapolis this morning.
Heather Onuma (Sr., Hilo, Hawaii) was the top Tiger finisher with a time of 18:22.13, giving her eighteenth-place overall. Courtney Ebersole (Jr., Lebannon, PA) crossed the line with a time of 18:27.9, good for the 21st slot.
As a team, Princeton tallied 122 total points in the meet. Villanova won the overall meet with a score of 19, with Wildcat runners placing in five of the top six spots. Along with Villanova, Georgetown qualified for the NCAA Championships, as they took second place with 46 points.
