Women Finish Second At H-Y-P Cross Country Meet

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Emily Kroshus placed third with a time of 17 minutes, 49 seconds at the H-Y-P cross country meet on Friday to lead Princeton to a second place finish.
Yale won the meet with 18 points led by sisters Kate (17:31) and Laura (17:36) O'Neill who finished first and second. Princeton followed with 49 points and Harvard was last with 70 points.
Juniors Catherine Casey and Emily Eynon placed ninth and 10th for the Tigers clocking in at 18:33. Holly Huffman was 13th (18:42) and Rebecca Snyder finished 14th (18:42).
The women's cross country team returns to action on Oct. 14 at the Lafayette Invitational in Eastern, Pa.
