PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton women's track team defeated Penn this afternoon in rare dual meet competition at Jadwin Gym by a score of 66-61.
Princeton had winners in six events and had 1-3 sweeps in three of those.
Holly Huffman won the mile run with a time of 5:03.63. She was followed by Karen O'Neil with a 5:04.46 time and Catherine Casey with a 5:18.91 clocking.
Princeton won the top three spots in the 3000 meters. Jen Cannistra finished first with a time of 10:19.68 and Sarah Rivlin finished second with a time of 10:21.28. Courtney Ebersole was the third place finisher with a time of 10:31.19.
The final sweep for Princeton was the high jump. Co-captain Shawneequa Callier cleared 1.79 meters and Rebecca Desman jumped 1.74 meters. Becky Haarlow cleared 1.59 meters.
The Tigers return to action next week at the Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet at Harvard.
