Men's And Women's Track And Field Teams Have Strong Showing At Hurricane Invitational

MIAMI, Fla. - The Princeton men's and women's track teams had an impressive performance in their first outing of the outdoor season in the Hurricane Invitational hosted by the University of Miami this weekend.
Scott Denbo (Jr., Nashville, Tenn.) finished first in the men's shot put with a distance of 18.56 meters. Senior John Mack (New Haven, Mich.) took sixth in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 22.66.
On the women's side, Shawneequa Callier (Sr., New York, N.Y.) tied for second place in the high jump, clearing 1.68 meters. Princeton finished fifth in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays.
