Greenville, S.C. - Emily Kroshus (So., Calgary, Alberta) led the Tigers to a 12th place finish in the purple race at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational. Kroshus finished 17th in the individual standings with a time of 21:53. Competing in the race were 229 athletes from 34 colleges and universities.
Catherine Casey (Sr., Maplewood, N.J.), Emily Eynon (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio), Holly Huffman (Sr., Englewood, Colo.) Rebecca Snyder (So., Greenville, S.C.), Sarah Rivlin (Jr., Brandon, Miss.) and Pilar Milar (So., Melville N.Y.) also competed in the NCAA Pre-National Invitational.
As some of the Tigers were competing at the NCAA Pre-Nationals, others were competing at the Leopard Invitational. Princeton finished third in the meet with a team score of 75 points placing behind Penn (60 pts.) and Columbia (70 pts.). Catherine Peff (Fr., Jenkinstown, Pa.) was the top Princeton finisher with a time of 21:47.5 that put her in sixth place.
