Women's Cross Country Competes at Heptagonal Championships

New York, N.Y.Emily Kroshus (So., Calgary, Alberta) led the Tigers to a 6th place at the 2001 Cross Country Heptagonal Championships. Kroshus crossed the finish line at 17:51.3 and placed fifth in the individual standings. The race was held in Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y. Lead by Kate O'Neill, who ran the course in 17:33.1 and placed first in the individual standings, Yale captured the Heps title with a team score 60.
Catherine Casey (Sr., Maplewood, N.J.) ran the course in 17:58.0 and finished in ninth place. Emily Eynon (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio) crossed the finish line at 18:25.5 in 27th place. Last year Princeton finished in seventh place at the meet.
