Men's Track and Field Wins Fourth Consecutive Heps Title

BOSTON, Mass. - Jonathan Jessup, Scott Denbo and Tora Harris were all repeat winners for the Princeton track and field team while Tensai Asfaw captured his first title as the Tigers won their fourth consecutive indoor Heptagonal title. Princeton scored 118 points beating second place Penn by 32 points.
Jessup won the pole vault and tied the mark he set last year with a height of 16' 4.75" for his second consecutive indoor Heps title. Denbo captured his third consecutive indoor title with a win in the shot put with a throw of 58' 6.75". Tora Harris was named the men's Most Outstanding Performer with his third consecutive indoor win in the high jump. He tied the indoor Heps record with a jump of 7' 3.25". Asfaw won the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:29.58 seconds to capture his first indoor Heps title. Princeton also won the two-mile relay with a time of 7:36.74.
The Tigers will compete at the IC4A championships March 3-4 in Boston, Mass.
