Princeton Women's Track and Field Takes Third At Tri-Meet

PRINCETON, N.J. - Catherine Casey won the mile run (5:4.36), Laura Shackelton won the 3,000 meters (10:16.81) and Becca Desman won the high jump (1.74 meters) as the Princeton women's track and field team placed third at the tri-meet against Penn and Penn State on Saturday at Jadwyn Gym. Penn State won the meet with 136 points, Penn was second with 92 points, followed by Princeton with 82 points.
Susan Coltman finished second in the high jump (1.64 meters) and Laura Simmons (2:14.50) and Natalie Deffenbaugh (2:16.72) placed second and third in the 800.
Princeton will host the H-Y-P meet next Saturday, Feb. 10th beginning at noon in Jadwyn Gym.
