RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior Ryan Smith won the 800-meter race with a time of one minute, 48.57 seconds at the Raleigh Relays outdoor track and field meet hosted by North Carolina State on Saturday. Tensai Asfaw placed sixth (3:51.04), Kevin Gallagher finished eighth (3:51.45) and Biren Roy was 12th (3:52.63) in the 1,500 meters for the Tigers. Ryan Teising had an 18th place finish with a time of 30:48.67 in the 10 k run, Jeff Di Chiara finished 29th (31:40.97). Jon Kieliszak (14:50.38) placed 40th in the 5k.
