Tigers Finish Behind Penn In Dual Meet

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton women's track and field team hosted Penn in a dual meet at Weaver Track Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers finished second to the Quakers with Penn totaling 89 points to Princeton's 61.
Catherine Casey (4:42.09) and Kate Reid (4:43.41) went one-two in the 1,500 meters as did Liz Morse (58.19) and Kellie Cramm (58.45) in the 400. Becca Desman won the high jump (1.64 m), Lauren Simmons (2:10.97) won the 800 and Becky Haarlow took the triple jump (38' 3.25"). Khalila Thomas outdistanced herself from the competition with her win in the shot put throwing of 42' .75", almost a foot and a half farther than the next closest competitor.
Princeton will travel to New York City to face Columbia and Army on Saturday, Apr. 21.
