Darling Named Ivy League Player of the Week

Kelly Darling was named the Ivy League Field Hockey Players of the Week today, following her performance in a 4-1 win versus Harvard in a battle of Ivy unbeatens.
Darling scored her first two goals of the season in the win. At 13:13, she opened the scoring when she shot a deflected rebound into the cage. Harvard evened up the score, but Darling posted her second goal, the game-winner 2:10 in to the second half to put the Tigers on top for good.
Darling, a sophomore from Moorestown, N.J., has played in all 13 Princeton games this season and has two goals on four shots.
The Tigers (8-5) resume play today at 5:00 p.m., when they visit Cornell
