Pennsylvania, Pa. - Kelly Cramm led the Tigers with 16 kills as the Tigers fell to Penn 3-1 in women's volleyball action at The Palestra. The loss Princeton snaps a six-game winning streak for the Tigers as Princeton slips to 6-2 on the season, 0-1 in the Ivy League.
Princeton took the first game 30-26 but Penn came back to win the next three games, 30-24, 30-18, 30-22. Cramm also led the Tigers with 21 digs. Kerry Song recorded 19 digs in the match; Ashley Weber recorded 12. Abby Studer tallied 15 kills on 33 attempts and Michelle Buffum had 14 kills on 30 attempts for a team high .367 hitting percentage. Freshman Jenny Senske led Princeton with 49 assists.
Elisabeth Kwak-Hefferan led the Quakers with 18 kills.
Princeton returns to Dillion Gym on Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. when they host the Terriers of St. Francis College. The Tigers return to League action on October 11 when they travel to Cornell for a 7:00 p.m. match.
