Princeton, N.J. - Led by Kellie Cramm, three Tigers reached double figures in kills as the women's volleyball defeated the Terriers of St, Francis College 3-1. With the win Princeton improves to 7-2 (0-1 Ivy) on the season and St. Francis slips to 3-16.
Cramm had a team high 12 kills on 22 attempts for a .412 hitting percentage. Ashley Weber tallied 11 kills in the match and Abby Studer recorded 10. Michelle Buffum had a team high .563 hitting percentage with nine kills on 16 attempts. Princeton recorded 11 aces compared to St. Francis' two.
Jenny Senske led Princeton with 42 assists and Kerry Song had 9 digs for the Tigers. Studer recorded two solo blocks and assisted on two blocks.Princeton took the first game 30-11 and the second 30-20. The Terriers won the third game 30-22 but Princeton sealed the match victory with a win in the fourth game 30-21.
Princeton returns to action on Friday, October 11 when they travel to Cornell for a 7:00 p.m. match.
