Tiger Cross Country captures Gator Invitational Title

The men's cross country team captured the Gator Invitaitonal on the strength of five top-ten finishes. Austin Smith led the Tigers with a third place finish, crossing the 8k finish line at 24:45.57. Josh Orway, Tristan Colangelo, Jon Klieliszak, and James Flannery all finished in the top-ten. The race featured athletes from 24 colleges and universities including Florida, Florida State, Miami and Kentucky.
Joseph Zepherinus from North Florida was the top individual finisher, crossing the finish at 24:06.66 and Andrew Smith from South Florida finished in second place with a time of 24:39.47. Princeton runners took, third, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth place to score 28 points. Second place Florida tallied 62 points with their top runner, Daniel Parker taking fifth place.
Smith has been the top Princeton finisher in every race that he has competed in this season. Last weekend, Smith took sixth place at the Paul Short Invitational.
