Friebe Named Ivy Player of the Week

Ilvy Friee was named the Ivy League Field Hockey Player of the Week today, following her performance in a 3-0 win versus Pennsylvania in Princeton's final regular season game of the season. Friebe tallied four points in the game, posting the game-winning goal and then adding two assists.
Freiebe, a senior from Bonn, Germany, scored her team-leading 23rd goal of the season at 21:42. Friebe then assisted on two second period goals coming off of penalty corners from Emily Townsend and Cory Picketts.
The Tigers (11-6) next play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday against defending national champion Michigan on the campus of Penn State University.
