Tora Harris Wins High Jump at Penn Relays - Sets Princeton Record

Philadelphia, Pa. - Tora Harris set a new Princeton record and tied the Penn Relays record when he cleared 2.30m (7'6.50") in the high jump championship. Harris held the old Princeton record (7'5.25") which he set last year. Teammate, Josh McCaughey broke the Princeton record when he registered a distance of 62.09m (203'8"0) in the hammer throw championship, which earned him a fourth place finish in the competition. McCaughey had set the Princeton record last season with a mark of 202'8"
The 4x800m relay team of Jon Klieliszak (1:53.0), Josh Kauke (150.6), Ryan Smith (1:48.3) and Dave Dean (152.0) finished fourth with a time of 7:23.88. The Georgetown team won the race with a time of 7:20.07.
The distance medley relay team of Klieliszak, Mike Kopp, Rob Hulik, and Kevin Gallagher finished in 13th place of the Championship of America bracket, with a time of 10:02.48.
Rocky Craley finished second in the Eastern shot put with a distance of 16.84m (55'3") while teammate Jeff Petrulis finished in 20th with a mark of 14.39 (47'2.50")
John Karakoulakis, Solomon Barnett, Kopp, and Pat Schottel comprised the 4x400m relay team that finished sixth in the Heptagonal 4x400m relay with a time of 3:15.31. The team from Penn finished first with a time of 3:13.06.
Harris defeated Jermaine Mason (2.22m 7'3.25) of UTech, who finished second and Adam Shunk (2.18m 7'1.25") of North Carolina who finished third today and second to Harris at the Indoor NCAA championships this winter.
