Princeton Opens Rider Tournament With Sweep Of Host

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Princeton earned its second straight sweep Friday night with a 3-0 victory over Rider University during the opening night of the Rider Tournament. The Tigers will look to earn a clean sweep with a pair of wins tomorrow.
Princeton earned wins of 30-19 and 30-14 to open the match. Rider made the final game more of a battle, but the Tigers earned a 30-24 win to close the match. Princeton is now 2-1 on the season.
The Tigers were led by freshman setter Jenny Senske, who recorded 40 assists in the match. In her last five games, Senske has 70 assists. Kellie Cramm led the attack with 18 kills, and she added a team-best 20 digs. Ashley Weber also had a complete performance, recording 10 kills and 13 digs.
Princeton will compete at noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
