Princeton, N.J. - Kelly Cramm led the Tigers with 20 kills as Princeton defeated the Blackbirds of Long Island University 3-1. The Blackbirds took the first game 30-23 but the Tigers found their groove, capturing the next three games, 30-19, 30-17 and 30-26 to clinch the victory.
Michelle Buffum recorded 15 kills in the victory; Abby Studer had 11 kills and a team-high five blocks on the match. Freshman Jenny Senske proved to be the Tigers top setter with 53 assists in the match and Marissa Becker record a team-high 13 digs. The Tigers finished the night with a .290 attack percentage (66 kills, 19 errors, in 162 attempts)
April Danzy of LIU led the Blackbirds with 17 kills. The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 28 at 7:00 when they host Juniata at Dillon Gymnasium.
