The Princeton University women's soccer team moved into the NSCAA Top 25 despite not playing this past week. The Tigers, who open their season Saturday at Seton Hall in the first intercollegiate event of the 2002-03 academic year for a Princeton team, went from being unranked last week to 21st this week.
The Tigers are one of two teams in the poll who have not yet opened their season. The other is the team ranked directly ahead of Princeton, Ivy rival Dartmouth.
North Carolina is the No. 1 team, followed by UCLA.
Princeton went 14-3-2 a year ago while winning a second-straight Ivy League title and making a third-straight trip to the NCAA tournament. The Tigers return eight starters.
