Cramm, Grumet Lead Volleyball to 3-1 Win over Yale

Kellie Cramm had 16 kills, Lauren Grumet added 15 kills and Jenny Senske had 48 assists as the Princeton women's volleyball team improved to 9-5 overall and 2-1 in Ivy League play with a hard-fought 3-1 win over Yale at Dillon Gym Saturday afternoon.
Game scores were 30-23, 31-33, 30-21 and 30-23.
Princeton controlled Game 1 from the start, but Game 2 was a seesaw affair throughout. The Tigers led 30-29 and had a chance to win the game on a Grumet attack, but Yale blocked the attempt and tied the score. Jana Freeman's kill won the game for the Bulldogs four points later.
The Tigers then took early leads in Games 3 and 4 and held on from there.
Freeman and Renee Lopes each had 14 kills for Yale, which hit just .132 for the match and had 13 serving errors. Jacqueline Becker had 49 assists and also added eight kills without an error.
Alex Brown added 11 kills for Princeton, which had defeated Brown Friday night.
