New York, N.Y. - The Princeton women's cross country team finished fourth out of eight teams competing at this morning's 19th ECAC Cross Country Championships in Van Cortland Park. Princeton, which was without its top seven runners who will compete at NCAA's on Monday, averaged a time of 18:58.40 on the 5k course.
Princeton's top finisher was freshman Catha Mullen in eighth-place with a time of 18:28. Her twin sister Caroline was the next Tiger. She placed 19th in 18:49. Senior Kate Reid was 25th (18:59) and sophomore Suzanne Andrews was 29th (19:06). Freshman Jen Johnson was 41st (19:31) and senior Christina Roberto was 51st (19:53).
The event was won by Cornell's Kate Boyles in a time of 17:57. Yale took the team crown, ahead of Cornell, Maryland and Princeton.
Several other Princeton runners competed in the Coaches race. Senior Krystal Adler placed fourth (19:18), junior Maggie Moore was sixth (19:23) and sophomore Courtney Lix was third Tiger in the top 15 in 15th at 20:09.
