Win? Lose? Draw?
None of the above.
Princeton's women's soccer game at Stony Brook scheduled for Monday night was postponed when no officials arrived for the 7:00 start. The game had originally been scheduled for November before being moved to the Sept. 29 date, which may explain the confusion.
"It was a long day on the bus," said Princeton coach Julie Shackford.
There was no immediate decision whether the game would be played another date, though it was moved from November to Sept. 29 because it was the only available date.
Princeton (6-0-1, 1-0-0 Ivy League) is at Dartmouth Sunday. The Big Green opened their Ivy season with a 3-0 win over Brown.
In other Princeton women's soccer news, the Tigers moved down one spot and up four spots in two of the three main polls. Princeton went 2-0-0 last week, outscoring Hartford and Yale 7-3.
Princeton moved down from 20th to 21st in the NSCAA coaches' poll, the main women's soccer rankings. SoccerBuzz magazine moved Princeton from 25th to 21st, while Princeton remains unranked by Soccer America.
