Open Crew Takes Eisenberg Cup On Lake Carnegie

PRINCETON - Princeton's open crew fought off a tough Yale boat to win the Eisenberg Cup on an idea Saturday afternoon on Lake Carnegie. The two teams split a quartet of races, but Princeton won the one that mattered most to stay perfect in the Ivy League.
The varsity eight came in at 6:14.4, more than three seconds faster than Yale (6:17.8). Yale won the second varsity eight and the fours, while Princeton came back with a win in the novice eight.
Princeton is now 5-0 in the Ivy League, and will look to finish the perfect regular season next weekend with it welcomes Dartmouth and Penn to Lake Carnegie.
