The Princeton women's track team won three events Saturday in a tri-meet with Penn and Yale at the Weaver Track & Field Stadium. Complete results for the meet can be accessed at the link above.
Senior Hasina Outtz had an impressive victory for the Tigers in the 400-meter hurdles, winning in a time of 1:00.26, more than three seconds better than second-place Michelle Hart of Penn.
Outtz's classmate, Liz Morse, continued her strong season in the 800 meters with another victory. Morse ran the 800 in a time of 2:12.51, over a second better than Penn's Christina Morrison. The Tigers took the top two spots in the 1,500 meters, with sophomore Cack Ferrell winning the race in a time of 4:30.10 and freshman Catha Mullen coming in a close second in 4:31.60.
Yale won the meet with 77 points, while Penn had 71 and Princeton scored 55.
The Tigers took second in several events. Susan Coltman was second in the long jump, while Molly Jones was runner up in the triple jump. Betsy Kennedy was a close second in both the discus and javelin throws, while just missed out in the 100-meter hurdles and Meredith Lambert finished second in the 3,000 meters.
