Ford Named to Senior All-Star Game

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton field hockey senior Maren Ford was one of 38 players named to compete at the 2005 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star game. Ford, a two-time second-team All-Ivy selection was named to the North roster. The game will take place on Nov. 19 in Louisville, Ky., in conjunction with the NCAA Field Hockey Championship.
Ford has appeared in all 14 games and been a strong presence at both ends of the field, as she has contributed offensively with a goal and an assist, and defensively, with several important tackles in the defensive end.
The North All-Star roster is made up of players from 15 schools, including top-10 teams, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio State. Ford is one of two Ivy League players on the squad as Brown's Kristen Vincent joins her. Dartmouth's Jessica Saraceno and Brown's Brooke Townsend are alternates to the team.
The game will occur on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m., at Louisville's Trager Stadium. The game is the day after the NCAA semifinals and the day before the NCAA Championship game.
Ford and her Princeton teammates are back in action on Saturday at Harvard. The game starts at noon.
