Top-ranked Open Crew Complete Second Straight Perfect Ivy Season

HANOVER, N.H. - The top-ranked Princeton open crew went undefeated in the Ivy League for the second straight season and claimed the Class of 1984 Trophy by defeating both Penn and Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H., on Saturday. The Tigers won four of the five races, including the crucial first varsity race, and improved to 9-0 on the season.
Princeton, which has won 18 straight Ivy League races, finished in 5:51.2 in the first varsity race. The Tigers topped Dartmouth by nearly 10 seconds, and would also claim wins in the second varsity eight, the novice eight and the varsity 4 "B".
The Tigers' final home race will be next weekend when they face George Washington and USC.
