4X800 Relay Shines for Men's Track at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - Princeton's 4x800 relay group of Aaron Reed, Alexis Tingan, Josh Wolfe and Kurt Kuehne was the winner of the College Men's 4X800 relay event at the Penn Relays Saturday afternoon, finishing the race in a time of 7:33.94.
The Tigers defeated teams from Duke (7:34.26), Kentucky (7:34.55) and Columbia (7:34.80) all by less than a second to win the race. In all, six teams finished in times of 7:36 or faster.
Princeton also had a strong performance in the javelin from Josh Probst, who placed third in the college men's event with a toss of 197 feet, 10 inches (60.31 meters).
In the "championship" flight of the college men's pole vault competition, Andrew Park placed sixth out of seven competitors after vaulting 16 feet, 4 3/4 inches (5.0 meters).
In the hammer throw competition, Ken Stringer had a throw of 169 feet, 11 inches, while Matt McNamara had a toss of 148 feet, 1 inch.
