PRINCETON, N.J. - The Orange and Black reaches the midpoint of the home schedule on Tuesday evening when it hosts La Salle at 7 p.m.

La Salle will be broadcasting Tuesday's game from Lourie-Love Field. It can be heard at www.wexpradio.com
Long time, no see
Despite being only an hour's drive apart, Princeton and La Salle have not met in 15 years. All four meetings between the Tigers and Explorers came between 1987 and 1990 with Princeton winning all four matches by a combined score of 24-3.
Chow down on cheesesteak town
In 2004, the Orange and Black went 3-0 against Philadelphia-area teams with two wins coming over Villanova and one over Penn. The second win over the Wildcats put Princeton into the third round of the NCAA Tournament at Lourie-Love Field.
Stumbling and recovering
The Explorers had a slow start to the 2005 season but has improved since. La Salle dropped four of its first five before winning two and tying one of its last four contests.
Staying off the creampuffs
No. 24 Yale was the fourth ranked team Princeton has played in 2005. The Tigers came within one goal of No. 3 UCLA and No. 22 Arizona while tying No. 18 Connecticut.
Money in the Behncke
Emily Behncke has either scored or assisted on every Princeton goal this season.
More Behncke
Emily Behncke is third all-time in goals scored at Princeton with 30 and points scored at Princeton with 72. She trails only Esmeralda Negron '05 (47G/112P) and Linda DeBoer '86 (41G/94P).
Net results
Princeton has used three different starting goalkeepers in its first seven games (Madeleine Jackson, Emily Vogelzang, Maren Dale).
Revolving doors
Just as more than one Princeton keeper has logged time in net in 2005, the Explorers have split netminding duties as well. Lauren Malizia has started five games and Amy Grant four.
More on Maura
Maura Gallagher is fourth all-time in assists at Princeton with 15; the all-time record is 20, held by Kathleen Kobler '91.
Get to the point
Ninety percent of Princeton's points this season are had by two Tigers. Emily Behncke has 12 (5G, 2A) and Diana Matheson has six (2G, 2A). Meghan Farrell and Lisa Chinn have each chipped in an assist for the other two points.
Frequent strikers
Emily Behncke and Diana Matheson lead Princeton in shots with 26 and 23. The next highest total is nine, by Maura Gallagher.
