Class of '75 Cup vs. Radcliffe/Cornell
Open Women Claim Top Four Races, Including 1V, To Retain '75 Cup

PRINCETON - Try as it might, the weather couldn't dampen the performance of the No. 1 team in open crew. Princeton won five of six races against Radcliffe and Cornell, including a big win in the first varsity race. The victory improves Princeton's win streak to 29 and retains the Class of '75 Cup.
Princeton's first varsity finished in 7:11.7, nearly 12 seconds faster than second-place Radcliffe and 27 seconds faster than Cornell. Princeton also claimed wins in the second varsity eight (7:31.8), varsity fours (8:14.4), varsity 'B' fours (8:20.7) and the novice eight (7:22.2). The Princeton novice eight posted the second-best time of the day, a good sign for Lori Dauphiny's program for years to come.
Princeton is now 7-0 on the season, which each win coming on Lake Carnegie. The Tigers will remain at home next weekend for an April 15 showdown for the Eisenberg Cup against both Yale and Virginia. The competition is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
