Krueger-Wyman, Capkovic Advance to Quarters at Harvard Intercession Invite

Sophomores Peter Capkovic and Alex Krueger-Wyman each advanced to the quarterfinals at the Harvard Intercession Men's Tennis Invite Saturday at the Murr Center on the Harvard campus.
Krueger-Wyman, unseeded, won two matches to advance to the Round of 8. He defeated Boston College's Alex Rasta by scores of 6-3 and 6-2 and then dispensed Harvard's Michael Kalfayan by scores of 6-2 and 6-3. Krueger-Wyman will next play Harvard's Gideon Valkin on Sunday.
Capkovic, the No. 1 seeded player in the bracket, beat Harvard's Gareth Doran in the round of 16. He will play Marist's Pedro Genovese in the quarterfinals.
In doubles action, Capkovic and classmate Alex Vuckovic defeated a team from Marist in Saturday's first round. Krueger-Wyman and Sratha Saengsuwarn are the top seeds in the bracket, which continues with quarterfinal play Sunday.
