Tiger Contingent Competes At Princeton Invitational

Four Tiger athletes competed at the Princeton Invitational women's cross country meet Saturday morning, with freshman Brooke Russell finishing 13th overall to lead the Tiger contingent.
Russell finished the 6.1-kilometer course at the West Windsor Fields in 23:35.30. Monmouth's Cailin Lynam was the top collegiate finisher in the event in a time of 22:27.70.
Katie Thaeder also finished in the top 20, placing 16th for Princeton in a time of 23:42.20. Ashley Schoettle ran a 24:36 to finish 29th, while Kim Bonner was 31st in a time of 24:44.
Competitors from Monmouth, St. Peter's, Georgetown, Villanova, Columbia and Princeton competed in the event. Princeton's top runners were in Indiana competing at the Pre-Nationals meet at Indiana State.
