Women's Volleyball Rallies Past Dartmouth, Remains Unbeaten In League

The Princeton women's volleyball team rallied from 2-1 down to defeat Dartmouth in a five-game thriller Saturday in Hanover. Princeton, which has now won 13 matches in a row, completed the first half of its Ivy League season 7-0 and holds a two-match lead over both Penn and Yale heading into the second half of the season.
Princeton, which defeated Harvard 3-1 Friday evening, claimed the match 37-35, 22-30, 25-30, 30-28, 15-9. Lindsey Ensign had a match-high 26 kills, while adding five blocks and hitting .478 for the match. Classmate Parker Henritze had a 20-20 night, recording 25 kills and 20 digs, while fellow outside Sheena Donohue nearly matched the 20-20 effort with 19 kills and 18 digs. Junior Bailey Robinson had a match-high 71 assists, while senior libero Jenny McReynolds added 29 digs.
Both Ensign and Henritze had key performances late in close wins. Ensign had two kills in the final three points of the 37-35 nailbiter, while Henritze added consecutive kills in the fourth game to turn a 28-all game into a 30-28 Tiger win. Princeton built a big fifth-game lead on the service of Rachel Cocalis and ended with a 15-9 win.
Princeton will travel to Cornell Friday night for a 7 p.m. match.
