Tigers Defeated in Second Game at Houston

HOUSTON -- Senior Sal Iacono had three hits and drove in a run as the Princeton baseball team fell to Houston 20-1 on Saturday night at Cougar Field. Houston scored three runs in the second inning and never looked back to pick up the win.
The Tigers managed seven hits in the game, three coming from Iacono and two off the bat of freshman Greg Van Horn. Van Horn scored the lone Tiger run in the sixth inning. He was hit by a pitch to reach base and later scored on Iacono's single.
Houston's Aaron Brown pitched six innings to get the win. Offensivley Houston was led by a five-RBI performance from Zak Presley and four hits apiece from Felix Fanaselle and Josh Stineman.
Four Princeton pitchers pitched in the game. Junior starter Christian Staehely took the loss.
Princeton is now 1-4 overall this season and Houston in now 10-9. The teams conclude their three-game series tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT.
