Princeton Has 26 Players Named to ECACHL All-Academic Teams

Thirteen members of the men's and 13 members of the women's hockey team were named to the ECAC Hockey League's All-Academic Teams on Thursday. Three women, seniors Kate Hession, Dina McCumber and Kim Pearce, all received the honor for the third time in their careers.
Princeton's 13 men's selections are a new high for the Tigers, which had 12 selections in 2003. The 13 women's selections are also a new team high, as Princeton had 11 team members in both 2005 and 2006.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earned a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have an average GPA of 3.00 over the past three semesters. This is the first season that freshman were eligible for All-Academic status.
