Tigers Sweep Lafayette, Move To 6-3 On Season

All-Ivy middle Lindsey Ensign was nearly unstoppable Wednesday night at Lafayette, and her teammates followed the lead with a 3-0 win at Lafayette. The Tigers, coming off a very impressive performance at the Villanova Tournament, got a total of 28 kills from Ensign and sophomore Sheena Donohue.
Ensign led the Tigers with 15 kills and a .667 attack percentage. She made only one error in 21 swings and added two digs and a solo block. Donohue, a member of the Villanova Tournament all-tournament team, recorded 13 kills and four digs. Junior setter Bailey Robinson recorded 35 assists, while senior libero Jenny McReynolds had 12 digs. Parker Henritze had nine kills and 11 digs for Princeton, which earned a 30-13, 30-24, 30-27 win over Lafayette. The Leopards were coming off a victory over 2006 Ivy League champion Cornell last weekend.
The Tigers will play at LaSalle next Tuesday night before opening their Ivy League schedule Sept. 29 at Dillon Gym against Penn.
