Men's Cross Country Maintains Ranking

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/1/08) ? The Princeton University men's cross country team maintained its No. 3 ranking in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mid-Atlantic regional poll, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The Tigers are still receiving votes in the national poll, that ranks the top 30 Division I teams. Princeton is receiving 24 points, just two slots out of the top 30.
Ahead of Princeton in the regional poll are Georgetown and Villanova, while Oregon continues to be the unanimous pick in the national poll.
The squad will compete at both the Paul Short Invitational on the campus of Lehigh University and at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend.
