Cross Country Stays on Top in Latest Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/15/08) ? The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has released its latest poll and Princeton once again finds itself in the mix.
The women's cross country team maintains its No. 5 ranking in the national poll, receiving 307 points. In fact the top-13 teams did not change their positions, with Washington still at No. 1.
The team remains No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic regional poll, for the third straight week.
The men's cross country team is ranked No. 3 in the Mid-Atlantic regional poll, a position they have held for the last three weeks.
Princeton hosts the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 18. The race begins at 10 a.m. Select harriers will compete at the Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind., the same day.
