Schreyer Named Ivy Co-Player of the Week

Senior Kraftin Schreyer was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday after she scored three goals in Princeton's weekend sweep of Columbia and Providence.
Schreyer scored three of Princeton's five goals in Princeton's two wins. She scored Princeton's first and second goals in Friday's 3-2 win at Columbia and then on Sunday against Providence, the senior scored Princeton's second goal on a direct corner to put the game out of reach in a 2-0 shutout win.
Schreyer now has five goals and three assists for 13 points this season. She currently ranks fourth on the team in scoring, leads the team in shots and has two game-winning goals. She becomes Princeton's third Player of the Week in five week of weekly reporting, joining senior Holly McGarvie (Sept. 9) and freshman Katie Reinprecht (Sept. 30).
Princeton remained at No. 12 in the latest STX/NFHCA Coaches Poll that was released today. The Tigers do not play this coming weekend and return to action next Tuesday against the nation's top-ranked team, Maryland, at 7 p.m. at Class of '52 Stadium.
