Another Ivy Contest Ahead Saturday as Women's Soccer to Host Brown

PRINCETON ? The third of seven Ivy League contests will come Saturday for the Princeton women's soccer team as the Tigers try to extend some fortuitous streaks.

The remaining three are Wednesday, Oct. 15 versus Lehigh (women) and Rutgers (men) starting at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25 vs. Harvard (men & women) starting at 4 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 8 vs. Penn (men & women) starting at 1 p.m.
Peteraf paying off: Senior Sarah Peteraf scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season Tuesday at American. That total is almost twice as many, in half a season, as Peteraf had over her first three years (four).
Shutout streak: The Tigers have shut out their opponents for 490 minutes heading into Saturday, a stretch that includes five complete games. It is the fifth time in program history that the team has had a five-game shutout and the first since 2001. The program record is eight straight shutouts over the last seven games of the 1985 season and the '86 season opener.
Lucky seven: Princeton is unbeaten in seven straight games, including winning the last five.
Ivy strong in RPI: In the NCAA-released RPI, heading into the week, the Ivy League had six schools in the top 100 (of 318). Princeton topped the list at No. 28.
Series with Brown: The Bears lead the all-time series 15-12-3, though the Tigers have won eight of the last 10.
Home sweet home: Princeton will play five of its last seven regular-season games in Roberts Stadium, starting with the Brown match.
