Reinprecht Named ECAC Rookie of the Year

Field hockey freshman Katie Reinprecht added another honor to her list of accolades from her first season at Princeton when she was recently named the 2008 ECAC Division I Rookie of the Year and an ECAC DI All-Star.
Reinprecht led the Tigers and the Ivy League in scoring was eighth nationally with 2.39 points per game, as Princeton posted a 17-3 record and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the second time in three years. Reinprecht was also named the Ivy League Player of the Year, a first-team All-Ivy selection and a second-team All-America.
The ECAC is the nation's largest athletic and the only multi-divisional conference, with a membership of 320 Division I, II, and III colleges and universities stretching from Maine to North Carolina. The ECAC honors more than 2,500 student-athletes during the academic year through its all-star and player of the week programs.
