PRINCETON -- Junior Brad Gemberling and senior Christian Staehely each pitched complete game wins as the
Game 1
Juniors Brad Gemberling and Adrian Turnham stole the show in the day's first game, with Gemberling tossing seven shutout innings and Turnham accounting for the only run with a solo homer.
Gemberling allowed three hits in seven innings, while walking two and striking out five to improve to 1-1 on the season. Princeton was held to just four hits, but one came from Turnham who hit his third homer of the season to right center field with one out in the fourth inning and it was the only run
Game 2
Penn scored twice to even the score at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning, but the lead did not last long as the Tigers scored twice in the bottom of the inning to go ahead 4-2. With one out, Lucian doubled down the left field line and scored when Kaplan tripled over the head of Penn's right fielder. Lucian then came home on sophomore Job Broscious' single.
