Kim and Champion Earn Honorable Mention All-America

Princeton women's water polo senior Natalie Kim and sophomore Phoebe Champion were named named Honorable Mention All-Americas by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches on Wednesday. Kim and Champion are the seventh and eighth Tigers to receive All-America recognition in the sport.
Kim completed her senior season at Princeton with her fourth consecutive first-team All-Southern and second consecutive first-team All-Eastern honors. She posted a 17-7 record while making 251 saves for an average of 10.5 per game, the second highest single-season total in Princeton history. Kim graduated second on the all-time career saves list at Princeton after four seasons as the team's starting goalkeeper.
Champion was also a first-team All-Southern and first-team All-Eastern selection last season as she ranked second on the team with 42 goals. Champion scored four goals in wins over CSU Bakersfield and Bucknell. Champion was strong in the final stretch of the season, scoring 21 goals over her final 10 games. She also added 26 assists, 37 steals, and drew a team-high 47 ejections.
