Cross Country Hosts Princeton Invitational This Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/12/09) - The Princeton cross country teams will host the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The men's 8k race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the women's 6k at 10:45 a.m.
Running in the men's race will be: Boston College, Columbia, Fairleigh Dickinson, Haverford, Iona, Penn, Pitt, Monmouth, NJIT, St. Joseph's, Stony Brook, Texas and UMBC.
The women's race will include: Columbia, Fairleigh Dickinson, Haverford, Iona, Penn, Pitt, Monmouth, NJIT, St. Joseph's, South Carolina and UMBC.
The men's team won the Princeton Invitational last year, beating out 13 other squads. Last year's sixth-place finisher Brian Leung will again look to make it into the top 10. He'll be supported by sophomores Donn Cabral and Joe Stilin, along with junior captain Rob Speare.
While the Princeton women will send its top runners to the Pre-National meet in Terre Haute, Ind., a second group will represent the Tigers at their home meet.
