Leung and Cabral Go 1-2 at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/17/09) - Sophomores Brian Leung and Donn Cabral finished first and second individually to lead the Princeton men's cross country team to a second-place finish, behind Texas, at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Leung clocked in at 24:54.80, roughly 13 seconds ahead of Cabral who came in at 25:07.30.
Sophomore Joe Stilin placed eighth with a time of 25:16.20 and junior Mark Amirault was 11th at 25:18.80. Junior Hudson Andrews was the final scorer for the Tigers, coming in 18th at 25:29.80. Teammate Sean Wilson was right behind him in 19th place at 25:32.30, while freshman James Webb finished in the top 25 of 179 harriers. Junior Rob Speare, junior Dennis Walsh and sophomore Peter Maag placed in the top-10 for Princeton.
Princeton will run for its fourth straight Ivy League Heptagonal title in two weeks, on Friday, Oct. 30 in Van Cortlandt Park.
