Women's XC Ranked 4th in the Nation

PRINCETON, N.J. (11/4/09) - The Princeton women's cross country team moved up from seventh to fourth in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll.
The Tigers earned 312 points to move ahead of reigonal rival West Virginia for the first time this season. This also places Princeton in second place in the region beind Villanova.
Washington maintains top billings with 357 points, with Villanova trailing by seven points. Florida is third with 322 points.
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14 on the campus of Maryland-Eastern Shore. The top two teams will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
